Have you supersized your coffee??

In the kitchen this month we have two new junior chefs, Panos and Jordan they are both really excited to get started and begin dishing up lots of yummy meals for all our customers to enjoy. Panos is from Greece, he worked as a chef in the army for 9 months. Jordan is in his 2^nd year at Ara heading towards his culinary arts diploma. Kate our long serving chef has gone on maternity leave, she’s expecting baby number 5, and we all wish her the best of luck. Next door in the garden centre, they have a storewide sale running throughout March so keep an eye out on all the sales. March is also autumn planting month, it’s the best time to get all your winter vegetables planted and all your autumn flowers.

 

March is stonefruit month. From March we will launch our yummy apricot & white chocolate smoothie, peach & vanilla smoothie and nectarine & raspberry frappe. In our sweets cabinet we have our peach melba meringue roulade and stonefruit clafoutis, these are a yummy extra to a coffee or to finish off your lunch.

I have just finished stocking the shelves of more Fudge Cottage, this is by far the best fudge you will find in Christchurch.
