Welcome back for 2017, we hope all our customers and the community had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We have a new chef de partie called Stacey. Stacey has been a chef for 8 years, before coming to Christchurch to work at Terra Viva Café. He previously worked at Depot in Auckland. Stacey’s signature dish is all dishes seafood related, all the staff are very excited to have Stacey on board. We tasted a beautiful stuffed calamari recently Stacey had made, it was stuffed with mince, lemon zest, mint and coriander.
On the 12th January we launched our new menu, all the chefs have been very busy thinking of all the yummy ideas. A couple of my favorites are spiced chicken salad, ginger marinated chicken or haloumi skewers, crispy calamari and Terra Viva spiced meatballs. We have also launched our new sweets menu all ready for Valentine’s Day. Why don’t you come in with your loved one and enjoy a beautiful meal with a yummy dessert.
