Welcome back for issue 3, firstly I want to thank all our customers and the community for the ongoing support in café of the year. We are very excited to be part of this again with our brand new menu and design of the café, get your votes in before end of October.

We currently have cheeky new spring drinks, why don’t you pop in and try one?? Our Terra Viva pimms, fruity wine spritzers or quince and elderflower gin and tonic are all very popular choices. We are loving our new affogato, topped with our baker’s delicious biscotti and an additional choice of baileys if you shall desire.

Next door in the garden centre we have some very exciting events coming up, on the 29th October we have Rachel Vogan coming in to run tomato tango, which is a tomato cooking workshop. On the 26th and 27th November we have Christmas wreath workshop which is run by Christchurch Horticulture Society. There is limited spaces for this workshop so please keep an eye out on the Christchurch Horticulture Society webpage on when and how to buy a ticket. If you do want any more information on these events pop into the garden centre and talk to Kristo or one of the staff.

I am pleased to announce my Christmas goodies have arrived, we have all been super busy filling up the shelves. Our chocolate selection is all out from bars to truffles to chocolate animals and clipper tea is back. Make sure you pop in and have a look at the range of all the other goodies. If you need any help, ask Jess or one of the girls.

Our Terra Viva stock is all out, we have Juliet’s yummy meringues back in stock alongside our chutneys, oatcakes, peanut butter, spiced pepitas, crostini, muesli, pickled onions, preserved lemons, Bbq sauce and our balsamic vinegar. Steve’s famous yummy summer dressing is back, come and check out our awesome range. We hope to see you all soon.
