What’s coming up in June?

Leaves have fallen, time to get your roses ready. Winter jackets are coming out and Hot Drinks are in!!!

Next door in the Garden Centre, CHS are hosting Petals and Prickles Rose workshop.

$30 per person – Saturday & Sunday 3rd  & 4th  June from 4:30pm-5pm

Join us for an informative workshop on how to get the best-looking roses in town.
We warm up with a glass of mulled wine or a cup of rose tea plus the Cafe will get you to sample some rose related foods!
Then CHS President Alan Jolliffe will talk you through all the important stuff - from choosing the right variety to pruning and spraying schedules!


In the Café we have a moreish range of Gourmet Hot Drinks like:

Bennetto Gourmet Chocolate Bars – Choco-mint or Dark Chocolate

Jaffa Hot Chocolate

Raspberry Mocha

We also have a brand-new range of herbal teas from Tea Total and Harney & Sons:

On our new Autumn Menu, we are now serving Cream Tea and Afternoon Tea from 2pm every day.

Cream Tea: scones with jam and cream – with a pot of tea or barista made coffee

Afternoon Tea: scones with jam and cream, madeleine, egg and cress sandwich, pork pie – with a pot of tea or barista made coffee

High Tea: macaron, scones with jam and cream, madeleine, green tea chiffon cake, egg and cress sandwich, ham and cheese sandwich, pork pie, leek and pecorino tart.

(High Tea must be for a minimum of two people and booked by midday on the day prior)
